The cuisine and Palate is a hybrid of international flavors fused with traditional American recipes. The menu, influenced by Afro-Caribbean, Brazilian and French flavors, creates a global cuisine that provides a great dining experience.
The cozy dining room was designed by the wife of the chef/owner. The charming light fixtures coupled with the soft light of the candles, which dot every table, provide an intimate and elegant atmosphere.
Appetizer highlights include crabmeat and chicken potpie and the chef's five-cheese macaroni and cheese. Some entrees to try are the braised beef short ribs or the stuffed double-cut pork chops.
Palate also offers live entertainment every Wednesday where you can enjoy the music of a DJ or a poetry reading.
