For four special Wednesday evenings this Summer, the place to be is Rittenhouse Square. The annual "Concerts in the Park" series, sponsored by Philadelphia Weekly, has returned.
From jazz to rock, country to R&B, the "Concerts in the Park" series features seven artists spanning several different musical genres.
August 13 features West Philadelphia's favorite sons, Dr. Dog, for a performance the whole city will come out to watch. Then on August 20, Adam Arcuragi and underground pop ensemble The Capitol Years will share the Park's center stage.
Melancholy country rockers Bitter, Bitter Weeks team up with Jotto on August 27. Finally, on September 3 the series concludes with performances by Black Landlord and The Hustle.
