Founded in 1817 and widely regarded as the heart of the society, the Joseph Horner Memorial Library is known as a "Volksbibliothek" — a library that covers many subjects. Here you can find over 90,000 volumes (three-quarters of them in German), ranging from history to religion, travel to music, art history to literature, and children's books.
