Flyers in the Playoffs
The Philadelphia Flyers are in the midst of the 2007-2008 playoffs and have a young, fast and exciting team competing on the ice.
With Daniel Briere, Kimmo Timonen, Scott Hartnell and Jason Smith joining Scottie Upshall, Martin Biron and Mike Knuble, the team is ready to take on all-comers while attempting to capture their first title since 1975. Go Flyers!!
History
Established in 1967, the Flyers have consistently competed as one of the premier hockey teams in the NHL. They won the Stanley Cup in 1974 and 1975, as well as advanced to the finals in 1987 and 1997.
The Flyers play at the state-of-the-art Wachovia Center in South Philadelphia. The Center offers multiple bars and restaurants, including Finnigan’s Wake — as well as the AT&T Pavilion, where you can find Philadelphia’s famous Chickie and Pete’s.
