Now you can access free high-speed wireless internet from several WiFi hotspots in Center City. Bring your laptop with you and you can do everything you’d normally do at home or in the office outside instead, with the sun on your shoulders.
Check your email, catch up on your favorite blog, get the latest news and scores, research your restaurant options for the evening or simply instant message all your friends stuck inside while you’re out and about.
In Old City, the WiFi network blankets the main corridors so you can grab a bite at one of the many alfresco dining options while staying “connected” — wirelessly. Start your day at Farmicia’s Metropolitan Café with one of their freshly baked Danish, croissants or muffins. Enjoy an alfresco lunch at Fork or Campo’s and never miss a beat.
Wireless Philadelphia HotZones are expanding rapidly. You can now log on to the “wifiphilly” network in Love Park, along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, in Reading Terminal Market and across most of the Historic District surrounding Independence Mall.
