Start a new holiday tradition with your family by visiting the giant model railroad display at the Reading Terminal Market. Train lovers of all ages will love the amazing new locomotive display, a highly detailed and interactive wonderland featuring historic scenes of Philadelphia and rural Pennsylvania.

Trolleys and Reading Railroad trains will pass through a replica of City Hall before traveling over the Schuylkill River, under the Reading Terminal Market and around a life-sized Christmas tree  — a route that covers nearly one third of a mile of train tracks!

The Holiday Railroad is free and will be on display daily except for Christmas Day. So hop on board and head to Reading Terminal Market — there will be plenty of festive treats and hot chocolate to warm up your holiday!

Midday Melodies

The Reading Terminal Market will be full of musical cheer this holiday season with Midday Melodies, a series of free concerts from 12 until 1 or 2 p.m.

Shows run on December 15, 16 and 17 and will feature a diverse array of holiday songs.
