Join the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in its sixth annual Buddy Walk. The event raises funds for the hospital's Trisomy 21 Program, which treats children with Down syndrome.
In addition to the optional two-mile walk, the Buddy Walk event is full of great food, raffle prizes and entertainment for all ages. Kids activities include moonbounces, face painting, a basketball and soccer shoot-out, a football toss, martial arts, jugglers, balloons and more. And keep a lookout for Sesame Street's Grover!
Participants can meet other such local celebrities and mascots as the Villanova Cheerleaders and the Philly Phanatic, all while listening to the tunes of Mr. Pete and D.J. Rockin Dave.
Visit the Friends of Trisomy 21 Center Web site to learn more.
