Cebu, named after an island in the Philippines, serves modern Filipino cuisine with Spanish flair in a stylish lounge spot.
Boasting a great location at 2nd and Chestnut Streets, Cebu is perfect for tapas and cocktails before going out on the town in Old City.
Cuisine
A trip to Cebu begins with its authentic Filipino tapas menu. With more than 20 distinctly flavorful tapas offered at roughly $7.00 per plate, the dishes can be enjoyed either as an appetizer or grouped as a main course.
A few tapas to try are the pearl scallops, tocino (sweet pork served with sautéed onions and artichoke) and dumpling prito (stuffed with spinach and shitake mushrooms).
If small plates aren't for you, a generous menu of entrées is also available. Sample the duck pancit with vermicelli noodles and spicy banana sauce — or try the seafood kare, consisting of a Maine lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams in a peanut and shellfish sauce.
